Graham announces the Presentation of £575.00
The first of the cheques was presented to South Shore Youth Football Club at their Presentation Night, which was held in the sponsors lounge at Blackpool Football Club on Saturday 14th June.
and then makes the Presentation
W Bro David Bell and Liz Bell approached the President of South Shore F.C, Ian Cooper who they know from their Craft Lodge, to ask if they needed any help with funding, Ian who founded the Club in 1977 said they were trying to raise money to extend the age groups they were able to work with by starting training for 6, 7 & 8 year olds at a new venue (Watson Road Park)

David and Liz put their suggestion to the Fun Day Committee who were delighted to agree with the funding to the tune of £575.00p. This has funded training Shirts, cones, footballs, boundary poles etc etc for both teams.
At the Presentation Night David was accompanied by the Chairman of the Funday Committee Rev Graham Halsall, the Provincial Grand Master and Lynn and the Deputy Provincial Grand Master. Graham was tasked with handing over the cheque which he of course did in his usual friendly manner by inviting all the kids onto the dance floor and then picking the smallest to receive the cheque telling the young man we hoped it would help him to continue with his football and grow to be as big as the tallest player who Graham had also called out.

South Shore Youth F.C were very grateful for the donation and invited us to go along to the new training camp once it had been set up with the equipment we are funding.

The PGM is most grateful to every Lodge who raffled or contributed via our WHISKY Appeals, without which none of the above could take place.
